delightful accommodation, the breakfast was warm, amazing location in the appenzell area. the rooms were immaculate and romantic, had a hairdryer, shower caps and bath sheets. courtyard view was a pleasant bonus. location in the heart of the city was a plus.

The room was beautifully decorated, especially with a great view of the town and mountains from the window. The breakfast was generous with outstanding food. The hotel is set in a central area very close to the local shops and restaurants, and the funicular. The staff were all outstandingly accommodating and amazingly kind.

The rooms are nicely decorated with exceptionally comfortable beds and smoke detectors😀

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a 4-star hotel in Appenzell and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The location couldn't have been more perfect, right in the heart of the town center. This meant that I was within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, making exploring the area a breeze.

All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. With its prime location, excellent service, and delicious meals, it truly is a gem in the heart of Appenzell.

During my Thanksgiving stay, I appreciated the availability of two complementary drinks in the room and the amazing view of the bustling town center from my window. the hotel's location was perfect, as it was easy to navigate to different shops and restaurants in the area. the front desk was also helpful with providing directions to different points of interest.

The hotel lacked sufficient lighting in my room, making it hard to read, and there was no fan or air conditioning unit present, which made the room quite stuffy. I had trouble with the Wi-Fi in my room as the signal was weak and kept disconnecting.

I loved the location of this hotel, right in the heart of a gorgeous mountain town. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great selection. Additionally, I was impressed with the hotel facilities, including the fitness center and spa.

During my Christmas stay, I was delighted to enjoy the delicious Swiss chocolate and cheese fondue. The chocolate was rich and creamy, and melted in my mouth. The cheese fondue was served with fresh bread and was a perfect warm meal for the chilly weather. the hotel was situated in a lively location with a charming atmosphere and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed.

The beds felt uncomfortable and were not supportive enough for a good night’s sleep. The furniture in the rooms was outdated, and the bathroom was not clean.
